WIRED VS WIRELESS SECURITY SYSTEM

We offer a  Qolsys IQ4 security system which is compatible with wired or wireless systems.  The wireless technology is just as robust and reliable as wired.  Because the system is app based, it requires the monthly self monitoring fee.

HOW  MANY SENSORS DOES YOUR SECURITY SYSTEMS NEED?

Security systems are designed to keep your family safe when you are home and keep your property protected when you are not.  A small number of key sensors will accomplish this.  Door contacts and motion sensors are often sufficient to alert you of any intruders.

WHAT IF YOU NEED TO BE away FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME?

In this case, it may be prudent to also include smoke, CO and flood sensors to help you keep an eye on your home while away.

SELF MONITORING VS PROFESSIONAL OFF-SITE MONITORING.

For many of our clients, self-monitoring is the preferred option.  Everyone in the family gets their own code and the parents can see the status of the house at any time including time stamps and notifications.

Professional off-site monitoring is recommended for those who place a high priority on safety and security.  It is reassuring to know emergency services will be called in the event you do not have immediate access to your phone to receive notifications.
